The Mantis was done as an excercise in materials and lighting (see video below) but became more of a game asset. While the model has yet to be optimized for game play (~24k polys due to the individually modelled chain saw blades), it is ready for the next step. Whenever that step may present itself! It has been imported into UDK to apply textures in a live environment (as shown below).
